What’s new in the little world of PEM;
On the heals of her last EP, Samantha and I are currently working on new music and, wow, she sounds better than ever. We’re experimenting with new sounds and getting our feet wet in genres we only previously listened to. I say, why not? It’s music we love so, let’s do more than just listen.
Another project has been in the kitchen for a while; The Virtual Podcast (launched last year) is taking on a whole new direction. Instead of simply being a vehicle for interviews, we’re stepping it up a notch and creating full blown fictional productions. I’ll leave out the nitty gritty details because I don’t want to spoil it for you but I will say that each story stands on its own while stitching a sub-plot that weaves through the episodes. There are going to be tons of hidden gems to found in each episode.
Much of my love for audio production stems from my life long obsession with Old Time Radio. These new episodes will lean heavily on my love of this old style of audio production.
Samantha is busy playing her new guitar and I’m spending my late nights experimenting with new sounds and writing scripts for these future shows. I’ll post more as projects are released.
